Carson Valley Inn Shines in Best of Carson Valley Awards!

• The Record Courier's Best of Carson Valley poll had over 45,000 votes and the Carson Valley Inn won 19 awards . . . let's break them down: 
• CV Steak took first place honors for Best Steak, Best Fine Dining and Best Bartender (Hank!). Bronze and silver awards included Best Overall Restaurant, Best Place to Take a Date, Best Place to Take Out of Towners, Best Appetizer, Best Dessert and Best Wait Staff. 
• Katie's took second for Best Breakfast and for Best Brunch. 
• The Carson Valley Inn as a property was first for Best Dinner, Best Lodging, Best Casino, Best Place for Loose Slots, Best Place for Video Poker, Best Place to Hit a Royal and Friendliest Casino Employees. CVI also won a top-three honor for Best Sports Bar. Thank you for your votes of confidence – your way of telling us what we are doing right. October Golf Special: Here's a great opportunity to take the short ride "over the hill" and enjoy golf in the beautiful Carson Valley ONE last time this season! Our ONE Package includes ONE Round of Golf at Genoa Lakes (the Lakes Course), ONE Night at the Carson Valley Inn (the main hotel) and ONE $10 CVI Food Credit per person. Carson Valley Airporter Rates: We received updated information from our friends at Amador Stage Lines earlier this morning regarding the proposed rates for the scheduled bus transportation between Reno and Carson Valley slated to start in early November. The news is better than we had anticipated. The fare between Reno or the Reno Airport and the Minden/Gardnerville area in either direction is anticipated to be $24.00 one way and $43.00 round trip. Something else we weren't anticipating: there will be a fare between Carson City and Minden/Gardnerville: $8.00 one way (either direction) and  $14.50 round-trip. The schedules, website, and reservation procedures are due to be a finalized and announced shortly. We'll point you in the right direction as soon as we get the information.

October Promotions – More Giveaways, Point Multiplier Days, Super Food Values!

• Our Swipe 'n' Spin to Win Drawings for cash and free play are every Friday in October . . . catch 'em every hour on the half-hour from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. INN Club members accumulate drawing entries all month as you play. Members who swipe their card at the casino Kiosk on Mondays through Wednesdays receive additional entries plus increase their winnings if they are drawn on Friday. If your name is called on Friday you receive one prize spin plus an additional spin for each day you swiped at the kiosk on that Monday through Wednesday. That's up to four spins and you win the total for all your spins!
• Inn Club members earn 5X points every Saturday in October – and also on Friday, October 31 – with no limit on points earned.
