Late Nite Catechism Tickets Now On Sale:  The New York Times declared "Late Nite Catechism speaks to an audience much broader than the membership of any one church." Nevada Coach Polian's Visit Coming Up: Nevada Wolf Pack Coach Brian Polian will be in our Valley Ballroom for a Blitz Buffet Lunch on Monday, November 3 and all area Wolfpack fans are invited to attend! The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon. Coach's candor, openness and specialized game film are certain to combine for an interesting and enlightening program. The cost is $17 per person and advance reservations are a must through the University of Nevada Athletic Department. Please call 775-682-6901 to reserve your spot by Thursday, October 30 - that's a week from this Thursday!

DAWGs Last Weekend, Upscale Crafts this Weekend:
  • D.A.W.G. (Douglas Animal Welfare Group) held their Fundraiser in our Valley Ballroom last Saturday and kudos to their committee and the community for raising over $30,000! How did it go? Here is just part of the note they sent us on Monday: "I have worked with a lot of banquet facilities and none come close what you have done for our group." The full note is at this link

The Henhouse Prowlers – A Most Unusual Treat in Carson Valley! Ten years in the making, Chicago’s Henhouse Prowlers have built a reputation for hard work and non-stop touring, playing music inspired by the roots of bluegrass while branching out into a sound uniquely their own.
