TJ’s Corral Concert Lineup
Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo have been making music together for
four decades and they will do it again in TJ’s Corral on Wednesday, July
31! Pat Benatar’s staggering vocals and
take-no-prisoners attitude, along with Neil Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as
a guitarist, producer, and songwriter forged the undeniable chemistry and
unique sound that created some of rocks most memorable hits including; “We Belong,” “Invincible,” “Love Is A Battlefield,”
“Promises In The Dark,” and “We Live For Love.” Together they have created two
multi-platinum, five platinum and three gold albums, as well as nineteen Top 40
hits. They have sold over thirty million records worldwide and have won an
unprecedented four consecutive Grammy awards. The July
31 concert is with their full band and tickets ($59 & $69) will go on sale this Friday,
April 26 at noon!

Corbin on May 24, Kenny G
on June 8, Uncle Kracker on June 29, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on
July 4, Dwight Yoakam on July 26, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo on July 31, Martina McBride

New Menu Items in Katie’s
We finally got a chance to sort through all the new items on
Katie’s menu and here are some of the highlights:
- On our Starter Menu, we’ve added Stuffed Baked Potatoes from 11 AM to 10 PM with three choices: Broccoli and Cheddar, Mushroom and Swiss, or Buffalo Chicken. We’ve also added Cheeseburger Sliders to our Basket choices: two beef sliders with grilled onion, pickles and American cheese.
- For breakfast, we’ve added a Basque Bowl: hash browns, chorizo sausage, green peppers, onions, white beans and pepper jack cheese topped with two eggs any style and fresh diced tomato. The Mushroom/Bacon/Cheese Omelette is also new.
- The Grilled Chicken Club is new on the sandwich list, served with lettuce, tomato, pickles, bacon, avocado and Swiss cheese on your choice of bread with choice of fries, potato salad or coleslaw.
- New on the dinner menu: Grilled Haddock finished with lemon butter sauce and served with rice; the Captains Platter with four butterfly shrimp, clam strips, calamari rings and two cod pieces – served with fries, coleslaw, tartar and cocktail sauce; the Cajun Chicken Sausage Pasta with andouille sausage, grilled chicken breast and penne pasta in a Cajun tomato cream sauce – served with garlic bread; and the Extreme Chicken Pot Pie (available from 11 AM to 10 PM) with fresh assorted vegetables and chicken in a rich cream sauce baked in a casserole with a flaky Parmesan pie crust.

Major Remodel Begun on Carson Valley Market
It’s been
in the planning stages for a while and now work has begun on the complete
remodeling of the interior of our Carson Valley Market. The construction
project should be completed by early-May and the pumps will remain open for
credit card and debit card purchases during the remodel. We will keep you updated on what you can expect with the new look and services.

- Katie’s: Wednesday is Italian Day with three specials served from 11 AM to 10 PM: Fettuccine Pesto Alfredo for $5.99, Pork Marsala for $6.99 and Chicken Chasseur for $6.99. The Thursday special is a Turkey Plate for $6.99. Fridays and Saturdays, Katie's offers a Roasted Prime Rib and Fried Shrimp Dinner special served with baked potato, vegetable and soup or salad for $14.99 and Katie’s Sunday special is "The Chandler" Chicken Dinner including southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw for $5.99 from 2 to 10PM. Monday Katie’s features Pork Milanese, a breaded and Parmesan coated pork cutlet griddled golden brown with lemon butter sauce served with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes for $6.99. The Tuesday special is a Burrito Grande, chicken or beef & beans in a flour tortilla covered with enchilada sauce & cheese with Spanish rice for $6.99.
- CV Steak: Thursday’s special is the CV Steak Mix Grill, a combination of our Filet Mignon, a Dijon and molasses Marinated Pork Tenderloin Medallion and Herb Marinated Lamb Chop Steak for $26. This Friday it’s Medallions of Wild Boar Tenderloin with Bourbon Jus for $30. Saturday night’s special is Garlic Studded Prime Rib for $26 and Sunday's special is King Crab Legs for $28. These specials are served with fresh vegetable, choice of rice or potato – au gratin, baked, or a one-pound, twice-baked – tableside tossed salad and warm demi-loaf bread.
